The group was @Swift110's idea.

I agreed, and made the group.

Then somebody pointed out that it made more sense to have the links in a channel.

So I made this channel for links to tech groups
(and channels, I guess, but the main focus is on groups/chats).

Feel free to send links to other tech groups to the group/chat.

The group link should be in denoscription.

This is bridge to ##thelinuxgeekcommunity (freenode).

We also have a bot on IRC called linuxgeekbot, you can use /command to commuicate with it.

/groups there's a bunch of different groups, many not tech related.

In my (AceHW) opinion, it's not fair to ban somebody from groups that person hasn't even been in/to.
