it's kind of gorey like that but i've found out something just now
i use the lower card for ubuntu, so no gaming just light tasks and such, the top card is for vms as i do gpu passthrough for games

i've ran into frequent crashes during light tasks on the host os and pinned it on the lower gpu but today is was just refusing to start, so i decided to swap connectors and it fired up just fine, so i popped the back panel and saw this:
