What would be the life developer if ctrl + Z not exist?

"Ah, the life of a developer without the beloved Ctrl + Z? It would be like a wild circus act, where every line of code is a death-defying trapeze swing, and one wrong keystroke could send us tumbling into the abyss of digital despair!"

When your friend sends you a TikTok video, your response is usually a love, haha, or sad emoji, right?

Let's introduce you to Seen, a new iOS app. Seen lets you send videos and requires your friends to respond with live video reactions, making interactions more genuine and fun.

It integrates with TikTok for easy sharing and will soon support YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

This is for everyone that is looking to start or progress through their programming journey!

If you are looking to start your programming journey, or have started it but don't have a clear goal or path on where and how you should move forward; I have compiled and made a really simple and straight forward path for you!

No, you don't need a mentor. You just need a computer and access to internet, that's all.

I have posted all the guides, resources and advices all in my community. Now you don't have to go around asking every dev or community to be your mentor or to give you a roadmap or something. This'll help exponentially.

Ofcourse my advices and plan will not fit all of you. You just have to use and apply the ones that apply to your scenario and go from there.

Here are the roadmaps and resources
https://news.1rj.ru/str/dagmawibabichat/37512/54629

Share it with your friends and community, for people who want to get into programming and for people who want to progress.

I hope it helps. 🌷

Okay here are some of the things Dagmawi spoke about yesterday.I have paraphrased it but its the gist of the things that lasted for me.

☝️Keep God first is as always his number one message. You can't go wrong by following God.

🕔On Time Management:-
You should value it to start managing it.

⚫️You need to create an environment with no distarctions(the place, the people)
⚫️You need a calendar- monthly ones to get an overview of your days, weekly ones scheduling your taks for each day.
⚫️You need a to do list.Know your tomorrows tasks each night and get them done.

Plan the rests as well.

On Building Great UI:-
Consume a lot of other peoples works on dribble.

👨‍💻On the self taught vs school path:-
AASTU didn't add any value to his programming journey. You can learn everything you would need without school.

AASTU gave him easy access to smart and capable people. That is the main reward.

👟On being healthy:-
Sitting infront of the computer for prolonged time is not good for the body. Remember to walk around taking a break from coding. Have long walks. Have food around you when you code. Healthy food.
Take care of your eyes. They will get dry. Get bluelight glasses.

On sharing:-
ያልቅብኛል ብሎ የሚያስብ ሰው ብቻ ይሰስታል

Don't gate keep. Share and teach others of the resources you stumbled upon, things that made it easier for your journey.

On being a person:-
Have other things along side your coding journey. Don't let it be everything about you. Their is that temptation to do that especailly since you want to be good at it.
መብራት ሲጠፋስ ምን ልታደርግ ነው?

🤖On AI:-
Its a matter of time but it would eventually take over programming - but he thinks its still a worthy skill to learn. AI is making amazing art yet artists are still making art. It shouldn't stop you from creating the program you want create.
Currently its more like a very good tool.

🃏On being a Jack of all trades:-
instead of just mastering one thing like frontend. He recommends learning a bit of everything. Because there will come a time where you would want to build your own stuff learn a bit of everything. Learn at least 50% of what you can get your hands on and at times you would go deeper on some of the things that need further dedication.

On ALX:-
They have a very good system of teaching. Its more hands on. He highly recommends them.

These are some of the things I took.
What lasted for you guys?
