Samsung Japan just announced the Galaxy A25 5G for the country. Interestingly, it's the namesake of the Galaxy A25 5G which launched way back in December of 2023, but it isn't the same phone.
There are a few differences, starting with the cameras. Japanese customers get a dual rear camera - 50MP + 2MP - and a 5MP selfie. The global unit has a 50MP + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP macro - and a 13MP selfie camera
The other difference is the SoC - the global model runs a 5nm Exynos 1280 with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. The Japanese model uses a 6nm Dimensity 6300+ with 4GB of RAM. Built-in storage is 64GB and it can be expanded through a microSD card.
The battery is the same 5,000mAh unit, there's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the Galaxy A25 5G is IP68-rated for dust and water.
Upfront, the Japanese model has a bigger 6.7-inch display, however, it's a plain TFT with 60Hz refresh rate and an HD+ 720x1600px resolution. The global model is 1080p, AMOLED, and has a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Japanese Galaxy A25 5G will launch on February 27 through Samsung's online store, as well as carriers NTT Docomo, Au Mobile, J:Com, Y!Mobile, SoftBank, and UQ Mobile. The single 4/64GB variant is JPY 29,900 (around €188, $197, INR 17,000).

Zomato is now giving users an option to ✨️ increase ✨️ the platform fee.
Some of you are real generous... 🫡
Zomato lets you edit the platform fee to make you pay more to them for no extra benefit lmao. The people who actually set it to ₹40 need to be studied for scientific purposes
