Emergency SOS can be used to share your n*des with your friends
The Emergency SOS feature on smartphones is activated by pressing the power button 5 times in quick succession. It sends an emergency alert, notify contacts, location and optionally, the feature can also send photos or videos to your emergency contacts.
A reddit user however had a incident with his Google Pixel. After waking up in half-asleep state & trying to stop alarm , the user somehow hit the power button 5x and set off Emergency SOS.
The user (still half asleep) saw the notifications for "calling 911" and stuff about sending location and whatever else to 12 emergency contacts.
The phone starts ringing and texts start coming in.

This modem does the usual 4G/5G (sub-6 GHz), as well as Satellite and GPS connectivity.
Because of the vertical control this gives Apple, it's about 25% more energy efficient than previous iPhones
C1 is a system of multiple chips, including transceiver sets and the baseband, connected over PCIe
The subsystem includes its own private memory system and a dedicated PMIC.
Because Apple controls both sides of this interface, they can optimize beyond what's normally allowed.
The power efficiency translates into better power delivery and improved throughput even when the device is thermally constrained (using outside in the sun, streaming video, etc)
The Qualcomm modem, for those who want the "Pro" modem, is in the iPhone 16 Pro still
