Exponent Energy, a Bengaluru-based startup, has created a 1MW rapid charging solution for electric buses, enabling charging in just 15-16 minutes.

Their proprietary e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charger) work with Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) cells.

An advanced HVAC system maintains battery temperature at 25-35°C, ensuring durability and performance.

Tested for 3,000 cycles, the battery shows only 13% degradation.

With deployment in 1,700+ EVs and 3.5 lakh rapid charge sessions, Exponent plans to introduce a 1.5MW charger this year and expand to major cities like Delhi NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, and more.
