Infinix XOS 15 review (on the Infinix Note 50X) it's a *very* feature packed software, with better animations even at ₹10,500. (1/12)
1. UI Design
XOS 14 had an outdated QS design, weird icons, & just outdated design language elements throughout.
XOS 15 is an upgrade in general.
It's not unique, & not 'standout.' It just copies several UI elements from iOS, Color OS, Origin OS, & Hyper OS
For example, the sidebar is a complete Color OS clone
The Dynamic Island concept is taken from iOS, the animations & functionality are both cloned
The Settings page... is not new
The Quick Settings page is straight from iOS
If you value original design, this isn't for you.

2. Customization
Lock Screen (Side-mounted scanner, so practically useless on this)
Has everything *except* widgets
-Can customize notifications
-Can change the two shortcuts & set whatever you want (Looking at you, Hyper OS)
-Many clock styles
-Multiple fonts, colours
Home Screen
Almost perfect.
-Can change icon size & shape
-Can turn off text
-Decent colour theme (Bad app support)
-Change text colour
-Proper grid layouts
Two major misses
❌No icon pack support on default XOS launcher
❌Widgets some
Widgets
Animations for 1st-party widgets are good, broken for 3rd party Widgets
Not to mention, there are *very* few
❌No photos widget
❌No battery widget
❌No good clock widget
❌No proper calendar widget

3. Multitasking
10/10.
🟢Great sidebar with documents & image storage
🟢Proper floating windows, split screen
🟢'Dynamic island'
🟢Smart Hub (Temporary storage)
🟢Drag & Drop for Gallery photos (It works for 3rd party apps)
Many skins don't have such a complete feature set.

4. Other Features
-Clone/ Dual apps, Hide apps, Lock apps are all present
-You can lock apps in RAM
-Good status bar customization (Cannot remove that 'VOLTE' which is annoying)
-'X Hide' works well (Self explanatory)
-Several Battery & Charging features
Still, many missing.
❌No lock screen widgets
❌No QS size customization, can't change some toggles
❌No Notification History (Older versions had)
❌For Note 50X, AI Eraser is missing from Gallery (Why even)
❌No Predictive Back Gesture (Many AOSP features aren't here)
❌No Partial Screen Recording

5. Haptic Implementation
Worthless.
❌No haptics for ANY slider (Volume through buttons, Volume & Brightness in QS)
❌No haptics at end of pages
❌No lock/ unlock haptics
❌No haptics when triggering many 1st party features
Some of the worst haptic implementation
