Internal testing of native video wallpaper support has been spotted in recent Windows 11 Insider Preview builds (Dev/Beta 26220.6690/26120.6690). Users will be able to apply video files in widely used container formats, including MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, M4V, and MKV, as desktop backgrounds. The system will automatically loop playback without requiring user intervention. Video resolution and frame rate will be adjusted dynamically to maintain system stability and resource consumption during playback.

However, Chinese readers didn't appreciate it:
- Don't compare yourself to Apple. It seems a bit cheap. I'm buying your top-end phone not because you're the same as Apple or better than Apple. I'm buying it because you're Xiaomi.
