Iger, on a roll, continued,
“The other thing that we’re really excited about that AI is going to give us the ability to do is to provide users at Disney+ with a much more engaged experience, including the ability for them to create user generated content and to consume user generated content, mostly short form from others.”

“There are great opportunities in terms of our collection of data and our mining of data,”

Iger told analysts.
“And I’d say above all else, there’s phenomenal opportunities to deploy AI across our direct-to-consumer platforms, both to provide tools that make the platforms more dynamic and more sticky with consumers, but also give consumers the opportunity to create on our platforms.”

📱 Micromax: From Consumer Brand to Manufacturing Powerhouse

🔹 Rise and Decline

- Peak years: 2014–2016, when Micromax was a leading player in India’s phone market.
- Decline: Lost ground as Chinese brands entered with faster refresh cycles and stronger supply chains.
- By 2021: Market share had shrunk to almost nothing, making consumer competition unsustainable.

---

🔹 Strategic Pivot

- Shifted focus to manufacturing via its arm Bhagwati Products Ltd.

- Move aligned with:

- India’s PLI (Production-Linked Incentive) scheme for local electronics.
- Global China+1 strategy, as brands sought Indian output to reduce import duties and meet government rules.

- Micromax rebuilt itself around factories, supply chain depth, and ODM-style work.

---

🔹 Bhagwati Products Ltd.

- Manufactures phones, tablets, and storage devices for multiple global brands.
- Reported clients include Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, Lenovo, Acer, and others.
- Scale: Millions of units per month, with output rising steadily.
- Targets: Revenue of ~₹15,000 crore by FY26, far exceeding what the consumer line could achieve.

---

🔹 Key Accelerator: Huaqin Joint Venture

- Approved JV with Huaqin, a leading global ODM.

- Benefits:

- Access to design expertise and advanced tooling.
- Stronger component integration.
- Increased attractiveness to Chinese brands needing local production without large plants.

---

🔹 Current Strategy

- Focus on contract manufacturing, not retail marketing.

- Expanding into components:

- Displays
- Camera modules
- Plastics

- Goal: Improve margins and reduce import dependence.
- The Micromax brand still exists but plays only a minor role.

---

🔹 Why the Move Works

- Consumer phones: Highly competitive, low-margin business.
- Manufacturing: Offers steadier demand, policy support, and long-term growth potential.

---

⚠️ Risks

- Heavy dependence on big clients.
- Missing PLI targets could hurt performance.
- Margins remain thin unless ODM design capabilities expand further.

---

🔹 The Short Version

Micromax has shifted from selling phones to building them for others.
It is now positioning itself as a major Indian electronics manufacturer, moving beyond its consumer brand legacy.

Valve's New Hardware Launch
The Steam Machine (2026)

This is a compact, console-like mini-PC designed to bring a high-performance Steam OS experience to a living room or desktop setup. Nicknamed the "Steam Cube," its primary goal is to run any game on Steam at 4K 60fps with the help of FSR upscaling, delivering roughly 6x the performance of the Steam Deck.

Performance & Specifications:

* CPU: 6-core AMD Zen 4-based processor (up to 4.8 GHz).
* GPU: Discrete 8GB VRAM GPU, with performance compared to a Radeon 7600 XT.
* RAM: 16GB user-replaceable SODIMM memory.
* Storage: Comes with a 2230 M.2 SSD, but is easily user-upgradable to a larger 2280 M.2 drive.

Design and Features:

* Form Factor: An extremely compact ~3.5-liter cube-like chassis.
* Customization: Features a swappable magnetic faceplate (Valve will provide CAD files for custom 3D printing) and a programmable front RGB light bar that can show download progress.
* Cooling: A single, large 120mm fan keeps the system remarkably quiet, running at only 28-30 dB under full load.
* Power: A 300W power supply is integrated into the chassis, so there is no external power brick.

Connectivity & I/O:

* Front: 2x USB 3.0 Type-A, MicroSD slot.
* Rear: 2x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1x USB-C (10Gbps), Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4.
* Wireless: Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, and a dedicated antenna for a low-latency connection with the new Steam Controller.

Software & Release:

The machine runs Steam OS and includes console-like features such as quick suspend/resume and HDMI CEC control. It is planned for a Q1 2026 release and will be priced like a PC, not a subsidized console, with estimates in the $650-$800 range.

🧠 Neurosity Crown + MCP + LLMs

Crown Device

- 8‑channel EEG (CP3, C3, F5, PO3, PO4, F6, C4, CP4), 256 Hz sampling
- Extra sensors: accelerometer, NFC, Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi
- On‑device N3 chipset for processing
- Marketed for focus/calm/productivity
- SDKs (JS, Python) expose raw EEG, PSD, metrics

---

MCP Server

- MCP = Model Context Protocol → standard for LLM tools/APIs
- Neurosity MCP endpoint: https://mcp.neurosity.co
- Bridges Crown data → LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Example: LLM asks “What’s my focus vs calm?” → MCP fetches metrics

---

System Flow

1. Crown hardware captures EEG
2. SDK streams raw + derived data
3. Cloud backend manages accounts/permissions
4. MCP server exposes metrics securely
5. LLM queries MCP → interprets/visualizes data
6. UI shows dashboards, adaptive apps

---

Capabilities

- Raw EEG + frequency bands, PSD
- Metrics: focus, calm, kinesis
- SDK integrations (BrainFlow, LSL)
- LLM queries: charts, trends, suggestions

---

New Possibilities

Amazon via an unnamed spokesperson:
“Piracy is illegal and we’ve always worked to block it from our app store… We’ll now block apps identified as providing access to pirated content, including those downloaded from outside our app store. This builds on our ongoing efforts to support creators and protect customers, as piracy can also expose users to malware, viruses and fraud.”

OpenAI Copyright Case, TL;DR

A German court ruled that OpenAI infringed copyright by training on and reproducing German song lyrics without a licence.

GEMA brought the case, citing tracks by artists like Herbert Grönemeyer and Helene Fischer.

The court said the model’s memorisation and output of lyrics violated exploitation rights, ordering damages and a halt to using those specific works.
OpenAI is weighing an appeal.

The ruling is narrow, tied to Germany and a small set of songs, yet it signals rising legal risk for AI systems that echo copyrighted material and may push the industry toward explicit licensing for training data.

Google Private AI Compute

Cloud power meets on-device style privacy. Your data moves through an encrypted link into a sealed enclave on Google TPUs. Hardware attestation proves the enclave is genuine. The model runs inside that room and Google says it cannot view the raw input.

Why it matters

Bigger models. Richer context. Pixel features get stronger without handing over sensitive data.

What you get

• Gemini level reasoning
• Isolation by design
• Support for tasks like Recorder summaries and assistant actions

Bottom line

A strong hybrid. Real promise if transparency grows.
