Update on LAT Aerospace
Our first uSTOL technology demonstrator is ready. Today, we have a fully-electric, fixed-wing UAV, built from scratch and almost ready for flight.
To make this possible in just a few months, we built our entire flight lab from scratch. Every bench, every tool, every fixture designed to push the aircraft closer to flight every single day.
This aircraft is designed to takeoff in 40 meters (thanks to a massive CL of 5 which is more than 2x of what you see on most aircraft). Endurance of 60 minutes. With a range of being able to cruise autonomously from Mumbai to Pune.
Ground rolls done. As I type this, we are pushing hard to get the bird in the air. Hopefully it doesn't blow up. Either way, I promise videos of our attempt sometime over the next few weeks.

HONOR Magic8 Ultra
As previously mentioned, only one "Ultra-large" version was available before the Spring Festival (Xiaomi 17 Ultra is tentatively scheduled to be released in the 4th week of December)

The OV50R 50MP 1/1.3" LOFIC ultra-large sensor main camera still needs further refinement
The engineering sample also tested the ceramic-like battery cover
It's also the industry's only device with 3D face recognition + 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
The goal is to achieve the largest capacity battery among the Ultra models, which are expected to feature batteries of around 7000mAh
Among the upcoming Chinese Ultra models, the HONOR Magic8 Ultra is the only one that will feature a 1/1.3″ main camera sensor. Xiaomi will use a 1" sensor, while vivo and OPPO will use 1/1.12" sensors for their main cameras
