RatanTata is the World's Biggest Donor.
He has donated ₹829,734 crore.
Built multiple free hospitals, schools & saved millions of lives.
Today, on his death, the whole world is crying.
Some unheard instances of Mr. Tata that will make you cry
1. Declined to accept lifetime achievement.
In 2018, King Charles III (then Prince Charles) honored Ratan Tata with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding philanthropic work.
But he refused.
Why?
One of his dogs had fallen seriously ill, and he didn't go to take care of him.
WHAT A MAN!
2. Visited an unwell ex-employee.
Once he came to know that one of his ex-employees has been unwell for the last two years.
At 84, Ratan Tata quietly traveled from Mumbai to Pune to visit a former unwell employee, with no media or publicity involved.
3. Welcoming stray dogs in India's most luxurious hotel chains.
The Taj Group by the Tatas, is one of the finest hotel chains in India and the world.
There are strict instructions from Mr. Ratan Tata to treat these animals well if they enter the premises.
4. Ratan Tata personally visited the families affected by the 26/11
Everyone expressed their sadness and felt bad for the country.
But this man...
Ratan Tata, is a true gem.
He visited 80 employees' families affected by the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Other than that, Tata Group covered their children's education and set up a psychiatric cell with TISS to provide counseling for their recovery.
5. Billions in the bank, but grounded to the earth.
Ratan Tata, despite his success, remains humble.
He often sits beside his driver and even enjoys driving himself when he can.
6. Helped multiple students with their studies.
Very few people know this...
Under Ratan Tata's leadership, Tata Group donated $28 million to establish a scholarship fund at Cornell University.
7. When every company was laying off their staff.
Mr. Tata came forward and urged companies not to lay off employees during the pandemic.
He even committed funds worth 500 CRORE to protect people and humanity.
8. Requested people to stop demanding Bharat Ratna for him.
