Root Cause
Xiaomi explained that the slow-responding home screen is a result of some third-party apps maliciously altering the layering of the desktop, which conflicts with system processes and eventually results in slow performance when interacting with the home screen.

For the meantime, this is considered resolved if the suggested solutions were followed. Xiaomi advises people who have been experiencing this problem to implement the suggested steps before calling customer support.

Xiaomi fixes YouTube playback failing on next HyperOS update

In the latest Weekly Bug Report, Xiaomi announced that an issue related to YouTube video playback on the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 has been fixed.

Problem
Stuck Video Playback: The users faced disruptions where videos would get stuck or not load properly.
YouTube Crashes (FC): The application would force close while playing.
No Response: The YouTube app would sometimes hang.

For this version of their software concerned, Xiaomi has confirmed that the bug in question is actually already resolved completely. Status :
This has now been fixed in the latest variant of the wallpaper app, and Xiaomi will soon be pushing it out. Users should periodically check for updates within their device’s Themes or Wallpaper settings once it is released.
