Apple Discontinues iPhone SE and iPhone 14 in EU

Apple has begun removing the iPhone SE (3rd generation), iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus from its online store in Switzerland and soon the EU, ahead of a new USB-C regulation.

This is due to the EU's mandate requiring all newly sold smartphones with wired charging to have USB-C ports, while these models use Lightning ports.

While Apple Authorized Resellers can continue selling existing stock, the discontinuation reflects Apple's preparation for the upcoming regulation and the anticipated release of a USB-C equipped iPhone SE.

If you haven't noticed yet, all the status bar icons have changed.

This also includes adding a tiny 'punch-hole' to the phone in the vibration icon.
