Here's everything new founded on the latest OxygenOS update (.501) for OnePlus 12.

- 1. TWS icon in volume slider

The quick settings volume slider now displays a TWS icon when a wireless earphone is connected.

- 2. Rectangular brightness and volume sliders

Likely a bug, but the sliders are now rectangular just like ColorOS 15 and Realme UI.

The pill shaped sliders could come back in the next update.

- 3. Addition of BeaconLink

Initially found on OPPO phones from last year, BeaconLink finally arrives on OnePlus 12.

It allows you to call other OnePlus , OPPO or Realme phones without network data or internet via Bluetooth as long as you're within a small vicinity.


- 4. Touch to share media with iPhones

Now you can simply touch your OnePlus 12 with an iPhone to exchange media.

However, this still requires the O+ Connect app to be installed on iPhone.

- 5. New 'AI Assistant in Notes' UI

The pop-up border is now colourful.

- 8. Prompt in OnePlus Gallery to start backup to Google Photos

Right after updating, a one-time prompt appeared in the Gallery app to backup photos to Google Photos.


- 9. Nav bar when opened a Floating Window (not sure)

I don't remember if this nav bar in full screen appeared before or not when an Floating Window is opened.

But it seems new.
