Jio 5G User Base Jumps to 170 Million in India, the most by any telco in the world outside of China.
1) Jio had 4.5 Million AirFiber or FWA customers at the end of Q3 FY25 (Oct - Dec 2024).
2) Jio's total home connects (home broadband) users stood at 17 million at the end of quarter. Note that these are high-paying customers.
3) Jio's net profits stood at Rs 6,861 crore, the best in any quarter.
4) ARPU (average revenue per user) jumped and reached Rs 203.3.
5) Total subscriber base stood at 482 million, out of which 170 million users are 5G.
6) Jio's customer addition is back to the pre-tariff hike levels, and susbcriber churn reduced to 2% per month (one of the lowest in the industry).
7) Jio confirms deployment of 5G VoNR for 5G calling customers. Not every device may support it though
