Xiaomi’s In-House SoC to Feature MediaTek’s T90 Flagship 5G Modem

Xiaomi is developing its own system-on-a-chip (SoC), which will include the MediaTek T90 5G modem. This new chip is expected to be manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, making it more efficient and powerful. The SoC will support ultrafast 5G speeds, better network stability, and global band compatibility. It will also use AI for smart resource allocation, improving performance while saving power.

The new chip will debut in the Xiaomi 15S series in 2025, offering improved performance, enhanced connectivity, and longer battery life.
