India is launching its first domestically produced 28 nm semiconductor chip in August–September 2025, manufactured at the Dholera fab, backed by Tata Electronics and Taiwan’s Powerchip.

Next Goal: To advance towards producing cutting-edge 2nm and 3nm chips, placing India in the elite league of semiconductor nations.
