X rolls out support for posting Community Notes in India ahead of elections

Weeks before the national elections in India, Elon Musk-owned X said it is rolling out support for posting Community Notes — the company’s crowd-sourced fact-checking program — in the key overseas market.
The first set of contributors from India will start posting notes from today and more will be accepted over time, X said. The contributors typically provide more context to popular posts to debunk any myth or offer broader insights. These submissions are then rated by users on factors such as the helpfulness they provide or the accuracy.

iPhone 16 Rumored to Feature Even Thinner Bezels

Some iPhone 16 models will feature thinner bezels thanks to Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology.

BRS technology allows for a more compact and efficient layout of the screen's underlying circuitry, enabling slimmer bezels without compromising on the display's performance or the device's overall form factor. This requires precise and advanced manufacturing techniques, given the complexity of tighter circuit placement and the need for bending some wiring downwards beneath the bezel.

It is not clear whether the slimmer bezel technology is destined for the standard ‌iPhone 16‌ models, the iPhone 16 Pro and ‌iPhone 16 Pro‌ Max, or both. It may be more likely to appear singularly in the ‌iPhone 16 Pro‌ models since these devices are expected to see display size increases from 6.1- to 6.3-inches and 6.7- to 6.9-inches

Apple has announced that iOs 18, its upcoming software update for iPhones, will be its "biggest" yet, introducing a host of new features and improvements!
However, certain older iPhone models will be incompatible with the iOS 18 update, meaning users of those devices will miss out on the new version of Siri, the more customizable home screen, the integration of generative Al in built-in apps, the hearing aid mode for AirPods Pro users, and the custom routes feature in Maps.
Despite the incompatibility with some models, Apple is promising extensive support for a wide range of iPhones, ensuring that many users will be able to take advantage of the significant upgrades offered by iOS 18.
