Apple has announced that iOs 18, its upcoming software update for iPhones, will be its "biggest" yet, introducing a host of new features and improvements!
However, certain older iPhone models will be incompatible with the iOS 18 update, meaning users of those devices will miss out on the new version of Siri, the more customizable home screen, the integration of generative Al in built-in apps, the hearing aid mode for AirPods Pro users, and the custom routes feature in Maps.
Despite the incompatibility with some models, Apple is promising extensive support for a wide range of iPhones, ensuring that many users will be able to take advantage of the significant upgrades offered by iOS 18.

According to Bloomberg Apple is looking for its "next big thing," and robotics are one area of focus. Apple has engineering teams working on various in-home robotic devices and the AI software and functionality that might be able to make a home robot useful.

Apple is considering a mobile robot that would follow users around the home, presumably serving as something like an iPad on wheels. A robot would likely be able to place FaceTime calls, monitor the home and the people in it, carry out simple tasks, and answer queries.
