🔗#Google has launched a new AI image generator

It's called ImageFX that is available through Labs and is built on top of the model powering AI image creation in Bard. ImageFX is part of a growing family of tools from Google aimed at specific aspects of generative 📼AI, joining MusicFX & TextFX. Imagen 2, Google's next-generation 👁image generation model, is now available in Bard & ImageFX.

🔒SynthID is used to "embed digitally identifiable watermarks into the pixels of generated images". The safety of training data is ensured to limit violent, offensive or sexually explicit content. 👍

The feature is available in English in most countries around the 🌐world. Also, Bard is now powered by Gemini Pro model globally with support for over 40 languages including Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, & more.

🔗#Amazon announces Rufus, AI for shopping

Amazon has launched an AI-powered 🛍shopping assistant called Rufus that is trained on the company's product catalog and information from around the 🌐web.

Rufus can answer customer questions on shopping needs, products, and comparisons, make recommendations based on this context, and facilitate product discovery in the same Amazon shopping experience customers use regularly. 👍

Rufus is available in beta to a small subset of customers in Amazon's mobile app and will progressively roll out to additional U.S customers in the coming weeks.

🔗#Google's Bard change to Gemini AI

Google is reportedly rebranding its generative AI chat experience, Bard, as Gemini. This change aligns with the introduction of the new multimodal AI model, Gemini, which Google integrated into some of products, including Bard.

The rebranding will also introduce a paid Gemini Advanced tier, offering expanded capabilities. The Gemini Advanced tier will provide access to the Ultra 1.0 model of Gemini, which excels at 🤓complex tasks like 🧑‍💻coding, 🧐logical reasoning, nuanced instructions, and creative collaboration.

Initially optimized for the English language, it will be available in over 150 countries. An 🔗Android app for Gemini is also in the works.

#Disney investing $1.5 billion in Epic Games
