MapMyIndia sends legal notice to Ola Electric for allegedly copying data!
=> In the legal notice, MapMyIndia claimed that Ola Electric breached the license agreement which was done in 2021.
=> In 2022, Ola Electric onboarded MapMyIndia to offer navigation services for its S1 Pro electric scooter.
=> As per MapMyIndia, Ola was prohibited from co-mingling the licensed product with another similar competing product and indulging in any reverse engineering, etc.
Earlier this month, Ola launched Ola Maps as an alternative to Google Maps and MapMyIndia.

A court in South Korea sentenced one of Samsung's former engineers to 6 years in prison for the crime of leaking sensitive information about OLED panel manufacturing to Chinese companies. Jahan has resigned from Samsung between 2018 and 2020 and establish two companies, one in South Korea and one in China, and transfer Samsung's technologies from the South Korean company to its own Chinese company and from it to competing Chinese companies. He offered or sold these technologies. It is estimated that the value of the leaked information is more than 25 million dollars.
