The RAM and the ROM are both Samsung-sourced. The RAM uses LPDDR5X Ultra specifications with speeds up to 10667Mbps. The ROM on the left is UFS4.1. Below the RAM is the flagship 5th-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition (8Elite Gen 5) SoC, and above the ROM is the in-house developed gaming network chip G2. Top speaker uses the AAC 1510 (15x10=150mm²) specification with a full metal package and is filled with N'Bass® acoustic enhancement material. Compared to the previous generation's full metal package 1012H (10x12=120²), it is larger and has improved overall performance

This is the first time that OnePlus has adopted sound units with the same specifications on the top and bottom. Compared with the previous generation 1012H (10x12=120mm²) + 1115E (11x15=165mm²) combination, this generation is definitely more balanced in terms of listening experience

The whole machine is equipped with three microphones, one less rear microphone than the previous generation. The placement logic of the three microphones is slightly different from the conventional solution of placing one on the top and one on the bottom. OnePlus 15 adopts the arrangement of one on the top and two on the bottom. There is no sound receiving hole on the back of the fuselage (rear side)

The X-axis linear motor uses the same AAC ESA0816 specification (third-generation technology) as its big brother Find X9 Pro. The overall performance is approximately equal to the larger ESA1016 (third-generation technology), which is slightly better than ESA7514A (third-generation technology). However, it is still a little behind the previous generation CSA+0916Turbo (CSA0916B fourth-generation technology). Refer to the diagram below for the rankings

The battery is the dual-cell single-port solution, this glacier battery also uses anew generation of spherical silicon-carbon negative electrode material. The silicon content has been increased to 15%, and the capacity has reached an equivalent of 7300mAh (27.6Wh), which is 1300mAh (4.68Wh) higher than the previous generation. The manufacturer is still Dongguan Xinnengde — ATL battery cell. The energy density is calculated through the packaging size to be around 823Wh/L, which is slightly higher than the previous generation's 790Wh/L

The screen is still from BOE, supports LTPO, and the luminous material is upgraded to X3. The resolution is reduced from 2K to 1.5K, but the refresh rate is increased to 165Hz. Before OnePlus the ultra-high refresh rate screen can only achieve a maximum resolution of 1080P. The operation of OnePlus 15 is to raise the upper limit of the industry. And this 165Hz is not for only gaming scenes. WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, QQ, etc. have all been adapted, and the refresh rate will be relatively smoother. The default supports medium and high brightness single-scan DC dimming + low brightness high-frequency PWM dimming

OPPO is doing next-generation pre-research on two 200 MP periscopes

— One 1/1.3"± (OV52A or SmartSens SC880XS)
— The other 1/1.12"± (IMX09E)

These are the telephoto solutions for two different flagships

The IMX09E (1/1.12") is likely for the Find X10 Ultra, while the 1/1.3" option may target the Find X10 Pro

No continuous zoom yet—currently fixed focal length
