Samsung has removed the bootloader unlock option in One UI 8 (even outside the US). This is due to an EU regulation (RED 2014/53/EU) that came into effect on August 1, 2025, requiring manufacturers to block unofficial software and only allow signed, verified ROMs.
In One UI 8 beta builds for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and S25, a system flag (androidboot.other.locked=1) directly locks the bootloader and hides the OEM Unlock toggle in Developer Settings.
To comply with EU security laws, Samsung is effectively ending support for custom ROMs and root with One UI 8 | a big disappointment for the modding community.
If you plan to unlock your bootloader, this might be your last chance before One UI 8 rolls out.
Some company like Xiaomi trying to do like this,.. idunno

As we know, once a Ximi phone, always a Ximi phone
Even their flagships go boom
The kid just sat on the sofa to start playing games and it exploded hurting his hands and lower limbs (causing blisters, skin to rot and fall off)
Ximi says they're investigating this situation (and figuring out a way to blame the user)
P.S. if you like your kid, don't give him a Xiaomi
