Chief Judge Thomas S. Kleeh, of the US District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, granted the permanent injunction on Friday, according to a court filing.

연초에 골드만 삭스가 회사 역사상 최초(first-ever)의 바이오 펀드를 결성하더니, 이번에는 JPM Private Capital이 첫번째 바이오 펀드인 270 Life Sciences Private Capital Fund I를 결성하였다.
JPM 바이오 펀드 규모는 $500mil. 이상이고, 자금 모집하는데 1년 넘게 걸렸다고 한다.
투자 대상은 기존 포트를 포함한 비상장 바이오텍이며, 모든 단계의 다양한 치료제 모달리티, 질환 분야에 걸쳐 넓은 범위로 설정되어 있다.
참고로 기존에 이미 투자한 분야는 심혈관/대사질환, 암, 면역질환, 유전자 치료제 등이다.
JPM Private Capital 는 JPM 자산운용의 대체투자 파트인 JPM Global Alternative 소속이며, 비상장 회사들 대상 그로쓰 투자와 파이낸싱 솔루션을 제공한다.
