Tracy Thorndike explained how Irish traditions were so deeply rooted in the land and embedded in the people that, by the 8th century, Christian feasts—All Hallows' Eve, All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day—were grafted onto the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The term of Ireland’s "first ever Animal Welfare Strategy 2021-2025 - Working Together for Animal Welfare" is approaching a conclusion and without doubt FG do not want public submissions regarding the practice of non stun halal Slaughter, nor will they necessarily listen to the public if they receive submissions on this. However, EVERY ONE OF US SHOULD SUBMIT OUR OBJECTIONS, AS EACH ONE OF THESE OBJECTIONS WILL BECOME A PERMANENT PUBLIC RECORD (it is also worth submitting objections reJewish Shechita Slaughter, which also can and usually does involve non stun methods, however this takes places to a far lesser extent in Ireland as there are around 3.5 thousand to 4K Jews living here).
There is a HUGE halal export market in Ireland AND a considerable domestic market. Halal slaughtered meat is in the general food supply (in supermarkets, restaurants, takeaways, school dinners, etc).
Data is NOT available on the percentage of animals that are slaughtered in Ireland using a non stun method for Islamic religious purposes. This indicates non stun slaughter takes place more often than the public is made aware of. There is no legal obligation to tell you whether your meat is halal slaughtered (unless a product is specifically marketed to Muslims, in other words, they have an ennoscriptment to know how their food was slaughtered...you do not).
Keep submissions limited to animal welfare concerns so as not to void your submission (in other words, do not object on religious grounds in this instance, While this IS ordinarily a valid objection, it will NOT be considered so in this case).
Fine Gael says: "To build on the achievements of our current strategy a new strategy setting out the broad principles to continue to improve animal welfare in Ireland over the coming years needs to be agreed, developed, and published."
Note the last word "published." They will have to publish info on submissions regarding non stun halal slaughter if they get enough of objections (some halal slaughter may employ the use of reverse stun methods, but data, as previously stated, is unavailable).
It is your duty to stand up against animal cruelty and halal slaughter (and indeed shechita), which can involve great suffering and terror for animals. Animals that are slaughtered using a non stun method are awake & aware as the blade is used to slit their throats. The time it takes to lose consciousness is prolonged. Sometimes, it is up to two mins for larger animals.
People Before Profit are SILENT on this issue, despite their alleged stance on animal cruelty. Other political parties are also silent. Including Fianna Fail, who have historic links to Larry Goodman (who gave them a controversial fifty grand donation previously). Goodman has benefited from halal slaughter for decades, and benefits from tax payer funded Bord Bia marketing in countries outside of Ireland (there's a Bord Bia office in Dubai). The partially government funded NARA (The National Animal Rights Association) is ALSO silent on this issue. Despite running campaigns on much lesser issues such as sheep shearing.

The Truth Is Worse Than We Thought....
A recent investigation found almost 7 thousand children have been reported missing from Tusla facilities since 2020. The Oireachtas committee yesterday "asked questions" of Tusla CEO Kate Duggan (who receives 209 thousand a year plus expenses). I'm sure "lessons will be learned" and it will all be swept under the carpet along with all the children who are abused, neglected, isolated AND sexually abused in unregulated privatised "for profit" so called care. But when all is said and done, 235 plus children who have died in "state care" since 2014 will still be dead in the ground.
Last night I spoke for 3 hours to a mother whose child Mary Kate got horrendous injuries in a private for profit "care home" that received 500k a year for this one child (and traumatised her for life).
This story is so unbelievably shocking (and I do not shocking easily anymore). There's other parents too. The attempts to silence them with tactics such as judges applying gagging orders (telling them they cannot talk publicly about THEIR OWN CHILDREN) is sinister and disgusting. These families have their kids placed hundreds of kms away in some cases as punishment.
We will help those parents put their stories on @IrishInquiry including that of Mary Kate. It's a long story and will make the hardest of hearts cry (and the softest of hearts harden against the state). The Ireland of old is the Ireland of today and we are going to provide irrefutable heartbreaking soul destroying shocking brutal truth and proof with parents own words (and documented evidence as well as recorded conversations with care staff). FREE HEALTHCARE FOR ILLEGALS BUT NOT FOR ELDERLY?

Elderly Irish people who worked all their lives will pay up to €25 a week for their medicines to be put into blister packs. It has been proven many times our elderly are OVER medicated (Cui Bono?), but this move may endanger them, as the tablets they're told to take won't be categorised.
Meanwhile, asylum seekers are given automatic medical cards (often retaining them when employed). Despite the government admitting most are economic shoppers coming from the UK (90%). The government attempted to hide this, and the Information Commissioner compelled them to release it.
Elderly people in nursing homes often already give up to 80% of their pension and a % of certain other assets to be looked after by private profiteering companies who employ asylum seekers from migrant hotels who aren't vetted (whom elderly often cannot understand due to poor English, and elderly people often having hearing issues or comprehension issues due to dementia, etc.). Basics are often not provided free, such as hygiene products.
Unregulated care homes used by Tusla ALSO employ asylum seekers. One mother who contacted me about horrific unexplained injuries her daughter received in "care", made the point that these injuries (as well as a shaved pubic area on her child) only occurred after Irish Staff were swapped out.
Generally, many employees may well be nice, but training and vetting is a MUST when caring for vulnerable human beings, and the @RTE Prime Time documentary showed that foreign staff have been filmed abusing our elderly in the most dehumanising ways (of course RTE never specified this, but we have eyes).
Furthermore, we have elderly assisted with hygiene by those of the opposite sex. This is a clear safeguarding issue. A case like that involving Emmanuel Adeniji should never be allowed to happen again. But the government does not care.
Look at further evidence: soon after it was implemented, a ban on appropriating nursing homes to turn them into profitable asylum centres (for young fit males) was lifted. Within the space of 6 months. A huge fanfare was made of putting it in place (Good PR for the government), and then as quietly as a pin dropping, the ban was gone.
Dozens of nursing homes have been taken over. Elderly people are displaced into hospitals, far away from loved ones. Such placements hasten cognitive and physical decline. Health risks increase, and busy staff leave elderly nursing home patients in bed all day, devoid of company, mental stimulation, or physical exercise. Visiting hours are heavily restricted.
Meanwhile, like with IPAS centres, Tusla Unregulated care homes and homeless hostels, care of the elderly has been COMMODIFIED. Vulnerable people equate to more opportunities to steal from the taxpayer. In the case of the elderly (who may have property assets), they are used to transfer taxpayers' funds while also being robbed.
During l○*kd○wn was the time to see how the government treat elderly people; their personal autonomy was taken (advanced age should not preclude you from freedom of choice). They were treated as prisoners and used to artificially pump up death figures in order to scare a nation into compliance.
They were sent from hospitals to die alone (with a latex glove full of warm water to hold as a replacement for a human hand). They were given drugs that quickened death and were denied treatment. For the ones who didn't die, the reality was 24/7 isolation in their final years.
When I approached @Colmogorman (then the executive director of @amnesty International Ireland, a human rights organisation), he said he supported the government's decisions pertaining to the elderly (I have an audio recording).
No doubt when the proposed Dying With Dignity Bill is inevitably passed, human rights organisations will support their "right to die" too. But only when all their funds are safely in the coffers of this damned government.

During l○*kd○wn was the time to see how the government treat elderly people; their personal autonomy was taken (advanced age should not preclude you from freedom of choice). They were treated as prisoners and used to artificially pump up death figures in order to scare a nation into compliance.
They were sent from hospitals to die alone (with a latex glove full of warm water to hold as a replacement for a human hand). They were given drugs that quickened death and were denied treatment. For the ones who didn't die, the reality was 24/7 isolation in their final years.
When I approached @Colmogorman (then the executive director of @amnesty International Ireland, a human rights organisation), he said he supported the government's decisions pertaining to the elderly (I have an audio recording).
No doubt when the proposed Dying With Dignity Bill is inevitably passed, human rights organisations will support their "right to die" too. But only when all their funds are safely in the coffers of this damned government.

Germany has been left horrified after two donkeys were TORTURED and a living nativity was destroyed and defecated on in a Christian church. I don't like to be alarmist. But I sincerely doubt that good doer Europeans understand just how much hatred there is toward them from certain quarters. There will be a sea of regret in the future, but by then the damage will be done and our way of life will have changed to a way of life that we do not like.
Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world already. But up until now that was largely confined to Muslim countries. Now its on the increase in Europe (official stats show this).
Also, take a look at Sudan, Nigeria or the DRC to see what happens to you if you are a Christian. Then understand you are inviting in those same people who are engaging in violence you can scarcely comprehend.
You may say "how do you know those people are amongst who we have invited?". To that I say "how do you know they aren't amongst who we are inviting?"

In any case the mounting evidence is undeniable. Just look at all the terror attacks in recent years, carried out by new arrivals welcomed for a "better life". Even one life lost is one too many in the name of this diversity and immigration agenda.
Furthermore, understand that the genuine people who flee that kind of violence don't wish to be walking down a street only to see someone who slaughtered their family. This actually happened to one African teen here (who was adopted after his family were murdered). He saw his family's killer (after the man was granted asylum in Ireland). Background checks are important as is very controlled immigration.

These youths probably don't qualify for the jobs plus scheme yet. Some youths have to be on jobseekers for at least four months first. Its generally 12 to 24 months though for most Irish people under 50. The same rule does NOT apply to asylum seekers and refugees. There is no wait period for them. Employers are getting between 7 and 10.5 grand over a two year period for taking on those who DO qualify for jobsplus, and so this means the government IS incentivising taking on and retaining foreign staff over Irish staff.
Some Irish do qualify earlier for jobs plus (such as travellers and people on one parent payments) but as you can see clearly the government's is funding the replacement of Irish people in the workforce in our view and we see this strategy replicated in the healthcare industry. Recruitment companies are paid up to 15 grand per non national healthcare worker they recruit from abroad (we for this Information from a recruitment company employee).
This also conceivably gives recruitment companies an incentive to not carry out proper background checks (which are nigh on impossible anyway).
There appears to be a strong push to get our young people to engage in a mass exodus from Ireland.
Meanwhile, the government goes on about the healthcare system being propped up by foreign staff (we wouldn't need that if we were not importing hundreds of thousands of people) when really we have lots of doctors and nurses being trained here with tax payer money and then being pushed out because the government isn't employing them or paying enough for them to live on.
Also, this is somewhat about lowering everyone's wages (importing cheap labour). Furthermore importing foreign workers creates a brain drain in other countries and harms those nations. India has a healthcare worker deficit of 3 million. Yes, they're short healthcare workers to the tune of 3 million. That's almost half of the population of the ROI.
Additionally, asylum seekers get accommodation, all utilities, food, medical cards (and sometimes free travel too) regardless of income. From November new rules will apply meaning they have to give a small contribution (as little as 15 euro per week). Also, Ukrainians get the ARP rent payment.
Meanwhile, Irish people's backs are to the wall paying for all of the aforementioned.

Tusla Children Sent To A Foreign Land While The State Accommodates Economic Migrants

Yes, they're sending away our vulnerable children to the UK while accommodating tens of thousands of asylum seekers in hotels here in Ireland.
It has been reported that €1.3 million euro in tax payer money is to be sent to Scotland supposedly for the care of ONE single child for one year (€23,000 a week). This child is not the first one to have been sent away either.
Judge Alec Gabbett commented that, in this particular family law case, the "cheque book is open for obvious reasons" (meaning the risks involved in caring for this child are so great). However, in my view, the chequebook is open for obvious reasons to do with profiteering from the (Tusla or unregulated care induced) misery of children.
This is not the first nice big cheque to be on its way to some (likely unregulated) "care provider" in an entirely different nation, and when the child turns 18 it is possible they will be turfed onto the streets of Scotland. They may enter an adult care facility if they have severe intellectual or physical disabilities, but otherwise, they're on their own.
Abandoned and left to fend for themselves (this has already happened to children in care who have been sent abroad).
All children are discharged from Tusla's responsibility on the very first day of their young adult life. Unless, of course, we are talking about unaccompanied asylum seeker "minors" who pose as children. THEY get accommodated indefinitely (transferring from Tusla's care to IPAS hotels).
This may surprise many, but what is more surprising is that real children in Tusla's apparent care are actually being sent to the UK regularly. This warrants deep scrutiny. There is not only a deep cruelty inherent in that [to send often traumatised minors to a land they don't know], but there are serious unaddressed safeguarding issues.
How do we know what happens to these children exactly? Who are these care providers? Have they too been falsifying Garda vetting checks (like two non national African pastors unregulated care providers have been found doing in Ireland?) Are children also vanishing from care there like they are here? (and if so, what are the government and Gardaí doing about it exactly?).
We already have children in care in Ireland being targeted by rape gangs (as noted in the UCD report on predators targeting children) and we know vulnerable children in the UK have been targeted by rape gangs for decades. So we have a right and duty to ask: WHO is watching the minors sent there, AND are these people and companies trustworthy?
If none of what I have said registers as concerning, then listen to ex Scotland Yard Detective John Wedger to understand the scale of child sex trafficking (and cover up) happening involving vulnerable minors in the UK.
While you are at it, ask why our government takes in economic migrants like it's our moral duty while simultaneously justifying sending away our most vulnerable. It's time the nation started really understanding what is going on and why. None of what we are seeing is done out of goodness and kindness. It's greedy, dark, and corrupt will have devastating consequences for all of us.
If all of it was altruistic, the government wouldn't abandon children in care on their 18th birthday while spending billions on asylum seekers and refugees, many of whom ARE disingenuous.
The Dept of Justice has previously admitted [in a secret memo to Helen McEntee] that most asylum seekers are undocumented and are actually economic migrants. Most of them come over from the UK (where they have been living and therefore are not ennoscriptd to claim asylum here).
The Information Commissioner forced the Dept to release the info after the DOP tried to initially hide the memo in order to shield illegal untraceable scammers from the ire of the public. The very public the Dept of Justice is tasked with protecting (see comments).

Edward White (48 years the victim's senior) put his young victim through the extreme stress of giving evidence and being cross examined and was also allowed (after being convicted) to stand up and say the victim and her family lied again and again. Her age in court was stressed as being "9 and a half" as though the extra six months in age made the crime lesser somehow.
Because this vile monster has some seemingly benign health issues, such as tinnitus, he got a lighter sentence. The female judge also deemed the attacks were brief and, therefore, less serious (as though it takes more than a second of inappropriate touching to destroy a child's life).
Additionally, his advancing age was taken into consideration when deciding on a sentence (he was well capable of sexually assaulting, threatening, and intimidating a child, and no doubt still is). Mr White committed the acts in the child's home and then told her he would do bad things to her family if she called out for help or told anyone. He said it was egregious to send him to jail given his health issues.
