Bloomberg reports that UK is taking massive losses as it unwinds its QE program that ran from 2009 to 2022. The Bank of England sought to avert a deep recession and lower borrowing costs by buying up $1.1 trillion of assets, mostly in the form of government bonds.

The BOE estimates that losses in the years ahead could total £200 billion, leaving the state with a net lifetime loss of as much as £80 billion for the program, according to a BOE report published Tuesday. This year alone, the cost to the taxpayer will be £40 billion.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland responded by acknowledging the problem posed by Ukrainians fit for military service abroad, including in Poland. However, they believe that the decision should be made at the European level rather than solely in Warsaw.

have been hampered. It is reported that to strengthen the AFU grouping, the Madera company group is being formed into a separate battalion and personnel are training in the Odessa region. There are experienced drone pilots in this group, it is necessary to refine the means of counteraction.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, for the first time since the end of 2022, our forces made significant progress near #Ugledar. Ours came close to the motorway east of the town to cut it. These active actions were preceded by air work on AFU positions in the mines. Our advance continues in the eastern outskirts of #Novomikhaylovka, the eastern and southeastern coverage has united on a broad front.

🔹In #Donetsk Direction, urban battles in #Avdeyevka, the process of splitting the Ukrainian grouping into two parts is underway. Our forces are moving from the dachas to the supply route of the southern part of the grouping.
