US special forces boarded a ship in November that was heading from China to Iran and confiscated the cargo on it, reported The Wall Street Journal.
American special forces destroyed dual-use goods, after which they allowed the ship to continue its journey.
According to the newspaper's sources, the operation was aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining components for its missile program.

The EU abused the emergency powers provided for in Article 122 (which abolishes the requirement of unanimity) to indefinitely extend the freezing of Russia's foreign exchange reserves.
Article 122 is intended to provide assistance to a member state in an emergency situation. Ukraine is not a member state.
The freezing violated international law on the immunity of official foreign exchange reserves.
