Households and businesses are now going to be pushed to cut their energy usage by a whopping 15 per cent, by the newly-created Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
Rishi Sunak has made the target, and said it is to be achieved by 2030.
You will now have to excuse me whilst I fire up my log burner, turn all my lights on, and put the oven on at the highest setting. A 15% reduction will not be happening in my world. I will not be cold or starved of energy that I need to use, due to their lies.
So unless they start to make it impossible to use energy I don't see how they can hope to enforce this on 57 million people. Hence they can Foxtrot Oscar.
