Moderna has agreed to develop its Claudin18.2 mRNA cancer vaccine with CARsgen Therapeutics (OTCPK:CRTHF) Claudin18.2 CAR T-cell candidate, CT041, the Chinese biotech announced Monday.
Per the terms, the companies expect to conduct a pre-clinical trial and a Phase 1 trial to study CT041 with Moderna’s Claudin18.2 mRNA cancer vaccine. The off-the-shelf mRNA cancer vaccine is designed to code for the Claudin 18.2 protein, an antigen associated with tumors.
