Italian beach drones to check Covid body temperatures!?
Health authorities near Rome have hatched a contentious plan to use drones to measure the body temperature of beach goers in the fight to control Covid.
They reportedly say the drones will hover "not less than 30m from people" with doctors stationed on hand in case a high temperature is detected.
After a huge storm erupted in protest on social media, the plans were cancelled to use them today - apparently due to bad weather forecast.
