Well we finally got round to recording the 'We are the 99%' song just over a week ago in a studio in Clitheroe, only to be booted from the session because of the lyrics.
Not kidding, you'll see snippets of it on video at some point, with a not very happy daz, especially as we had captured some brilliant performances by my regular band and the incredibly talented musicians we drafted in on piano, sax and violin, and it was all going swimmingly up to that point.
So we are finishing off the recording with an awake crowd backing chorus near central Manchester next Tuesday from 5pm - and you are all invited to join in, if you know the soulspace you'll know where it is and if not, message me.
The FreeTrade site is over 1000 members already - join up and list your stuff if you haven't already. Feedback also appreciated as we are continually tweaking it.
Issue 14 of The Light paper went to print yesterday so should start dropping at the warehouses towards the end of the week - thank you to everyone who helps make it happen and still very worthwhile.
The daz band are playing the Uprise and shine conference in Oldham on 6th Nov (a saturday night).
Just trying to get as much in now before i'm inevitably banned again..

AZ has submitted its antibody cocktail for emergency approval against Covid-19 infection.
“With this first global regulatory filing, we are one step closer to providing an additional option to help protect against Covid-19 alongside vaccines,” the executive vice president for research said.
Talks over supply are still ongoing with the US, after a previous trial failed to show it explicitly worked in people infected with coronavirus. (Bloomberg)

A French court in the suburbs of Paris on Tuesday suspended the requirement for anti-coronavirus health passes at large shopping centres, the third such decision in recent weeks.

I’m posting this, because there is a post about this company, to the effect it’s abandoning its vaccine mandate because 40% of its staff refused & will leave if enforced.
The fact checkers are out with their denials (doesn’t GD have a PR department?).
Those “fact checkers” claim GD has never had a vaccine mandate policy. That seems odd as it’s a requirement from the Federal government?
Anyone know the truth?
