Through the refresh rate of our TV screens, when we watch TV our brains switch to the alpha frequency which directly bypasses the sentry at the gate, namely our conscious mind-state.

Music intonation is being used in a similar way.

The alpha state is what happens to your brain if you had to stand in front of a wall and stare at it for a long time. Your subconscious mind is hijacked whilst simultaneously your conscious mind atrophies away, especially over the long term.

TV is the perfect tool to program the human mind with. Why is it called a TV channel(ing) or a program(ing)?

Can you Mix Private Medical Care and NHS Medical Care?

There is much confusion among patients (and NHS staff) in the UK about whether patients can mix’n’match private medical care and NHS care. I have heard of patients being told (quite wrongly) that if they have something done privately then they won’t be able to have NHS treatment in future.

The simple fact is that patients can still use the NHS if they have had private treatment as long as they gain no advantage by doing so.

In other words you can’t get a private prenoscription for a drug not approved by the NHS and then expect the NHS to provide the drug.
