This March, I visited the US People's Convoy at its base in Hagerstown, Maryland, just over an hour outside DC. I spoke to truckers about why they had driven across the country to protest vaccine mandates, and covered the internal rifts that were forming over the leadership's cautious strategy. In the end, the truckers were blocked from even entering Washington DC, and were denied permits for a peaceful protest.
