Russia becomes world's most sanctioned country
Russia is now the most-sanctioned country in the world, with 14,081 sanctions on Russian individuals and entities currently in place, five times more than exactly one year ago.
Leading the current round of sanctions against Russia are the US, Switzerland and Canada with 1,948, 1,782 and 1,590 restrictions, respectively. The majority of those sanctions target individuals, with only 2,210 of the 11,327 sanctions placed on entities, vessels or aircraft. Not included in these figures are sectoral sanctions like general trade embargos on gas or oil.
In addition to sanctions, more than 1,000 companies left the Russian market, according to the Yale School of Management.
Iran was previously the most sanctioned state in history with 3,616 active sanctions.
Meanwhile, most of the sanctions imposed on Syria, which ranks third, stem from the events surrounding the Syrian civil starting in 2011.

What happened in Iran last night?
Judging by the quick change of stories that the regime is coming up with it’s obviously something they want to cover up.
Apparently 2-4 drones attacked classified locations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Explosions followed by anti aircraft fire from the Shaheed Motahhari base followed by sirens of ambulances tells us the story.

The Russian Foreign Ministry says that Russia warns Ukraine, Moldova and NATO against attacking Transnistria. Russia will protect the population and its soldiers. An attack on Transnistria will be interpreted as an attack on Russia itself.
