❗🇸🇾 ISIS Attacks in Syria have significantly increased in these two months of 2023, especially in the month of February, as these militants are taking advantage of the Turkish-Syrian Earthquake to regroup and reform according to a new paper.

On 11th February, ISIS kidnapped 75 people near Palmyra and executed 12 of them.

On 16th February, ISIS attacked a military post near the Raqqa governorate killing two members of the Syrian army and wounding others.

On the same day, an ISIS leader was killed in a joint operation by the US army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

On 17th February, ISIS carried out a further attack and killed 68 people near Homs, including seven members of the Syrian army.
