GREECE 🇬🇷 Today, clashes erupted between police and a group of demonstrators in Athens after thousands of students and railway workers protested over Greece's deadliest train crash in living memory.

At least 57 people were killed and dozens were injured on Tuesday when a passenger train with more than 350 people on board collided with a freight train on the same track in central Greece. (CBC News)

The fire sprang up around 10:30 a.m. in the Bronx and was still burning several hours later, the FDNY said.

Residents within 1,000 feet of the derailment were asked by Clark County Emergency Management Agency officials to sheldter in place out of precaution, the Springfield News-Sun reported. The derailment occurred just before 5 p.m. near the Clark County Fairgrounds.
