JUST IN — The head of a Trump-aligned super PAC filed an ethics complaint against Ron DeSantis.

Taylor Budowich, head of Make America Great Again Inc., filed a letter dated Tuesday with the Florida Commission on Ethics over allegations DeSantis—who hasn’t officially entered the race— is benefiting from an undeclared shadow campaign for president. (Bloomberg)

CALIFORNIA — The California Department of Public Health announced the end of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.

Starting April 3, the vaccine requirement will no longer be effective for not only hospital workers, but adult care, direct care, correctional facilities and detention centers. (LA Weekly)

President Xiomara Castro of Honduras announced that she had instructed Foreign Affairs Minister Eduardo Reina to begin negotiations with Beijing about opening official relations.

The move will likely end Honduras’s formal relations with Taiwan. Castro promised to seek diplomatic and economic ties with China during her 2021 presidential campaign.

In response to the news, the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed "serious concerns" to the Honduran government.
