The People’s Convoy continues to grow in numbers and support as we peacefully cross the country in unity. The People’s Convoy has been diligent in our message and purpose. Although we support any peaceful movements in spirit, we are not affiliated with any other groups. The People’s Convoy has created an infrastructure with a third-party accounting firm, legal teams, security, and journalists documenting each mile. We encourage truckers and supporters to officially join The People’s Convoy along our route.   
  
The People’s Convoy would like to reiterate:  
• We are travelling across the US in PEACE and UNITY  
• We are 100% LAW-ABIDING citizens 
• Our core principals of FREEDOM and LIBERTY lead to putting an to end the state of emergency that gave rise to overreaching mandates   
• We demand government ACCOUNTABILITY through full and transparent congressional hearings 
• We are NOT going into DC proper, and we will NOT be there for the STATE OF THE UNION  
• We are NOT associated with Bob Bolus or other convoys who are planning to go into DC  
• The People’s Convoy is a peaceful and unified transcontinental movement   
• This freedom-loving movement is about the journey, not the destination  
• Our website and social media platforms are the only official locations with details on how to donate, routes and stopping points where people can come support   
• We are actively accepting donations through our secure site to support the truckers with fuel and supplies during the convoy

Is has been made aware to The People’s Convoy that the Illinois State Police has put out a statement regarding potential events that may be occurring in the next couple weeks.

They say these planned events are a danger to public safety because traffic backups are, in their opinion, a major contributor to traffic crashes, and even death.

Our convoy has traveled the whole way to your great state of Illinois with ZERO traffic infractions, and in fact sheriffs offices along the way have escorted or even praised the organization and safety that is built into this.

So while we are only in your state a short time, and we are not impacting any major city, maybe it would be a good thing for you to witness what the sheriffs have. The shear commitment to safety, and security that this Convoy has.

And by the way, why all of a sudden now is traffic slow ups on your radar, people have been driving 10-15 miles per hour under the speed limit, in the fast lane, for some time now. Your multiple miles long lane closures for a quarter mile construction project isn’t criticized by you for traffic safety violations.

I haven’t seen your press release about these things. Maybe we missed them….

We would be more than happy to speak with anybody in your organization should you wish to see our safety record. Oh yeah, in Oklahoma they gave us a border to border police escort. Talk about safety, not one incident occurred….Why don’t we shift the narrative to a true safety conversation??
