MP-2 Viktor is a modernized 14.5x114-mm ZPU-2 that was installed on a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 manufactured by the Excalibur Army. In total, Ukraine was to receive 115 such systems, 100 of which were financed by the Dutch government, and the other 15 by Czech volunteers.

The U.S. military has been tracking it since late last week and has determined that it poses no threat to aerial traffic or national security and is not communicating signals, one official said.

It's not clear if it's a weather balloon or something else, US officials said, adding that the U.S. could still shoot it down if it nears land.
