A round-the-clock curfew is introduced in Kherson from 20:00 on May 5 to 06:00 on May 8.
According to the Ukrainian authorities, during these 58 hours it will be forbidden to move and be on the streets of the city, and the city will also be closed for entry and exit.
Previously, similar curfews in the cities of Ukraine were carried out for the covert transfer of military equipment and personnel in order to minimize the leakage of information. However, such large-scale restrictions are unprecedented and are introduced right on the eve of the expected Ukrainian counteroffensive.
