Reports that the Chief of Staff of the Islamic Jihad was eliminated following information that reached Israel.
According to him, he is holding talks with Iranian officials for the continuation of the fighting and he is the one who gave the order to launch rockets to Jerusalem and the Dan bloc in order to blow up the discussions on the ceasefire and reach Jerusalem Day while fighting.
Since he was eliminated, contacts with Iran were stopped and there was even a report that he was eliminated in the middle of a conversation with Iranian officials.
As mentioned, 24 hours after he was killed, a ceasefire was declared.
