Там же они регулярно проводят обучение новобранцев и учения, формально - для противостояния Исламскому государству и пресечения попыток джихадистов вторгнуться в подконтрольную американцам область. Однако стычки с исламистами в Ат-Танф давно сошли на нет. В марте этого года шиитская группировка "Асхаб Аль-Кахф" заявила, что ВС США организовали на юге Сирии вербовочный пункт для отправки боевиков на Украину.

Примечательно, что в июне 2022 года подконтрольные США наемники обвинили ВКС РФ в ударе по их расположению в области Ат-Танф.

ICYMI: Montgomery County (TX) officials responded to a train derailment reported in the county's northwest area Monday morning.

The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management confirmed the 31-car derailment in Dacus, Texas, and said all of the cars involved were loaded with limestone rock.

"There are no reports of hazardous materials or any other dangerous materials that pose any threat to the community."

NEW: Train cars derail in SE Harris County, Texas.

Four train cars derailed near Port Road and N Highway 146, authorities say. There was no hazmat concern following a train car derailment in southeast Harris County, the Precinct 8 Constable's Office said.

Crews were working to clear the scene near Port Road and N Highway 146 on Tuesday morning. The constable's office said four cars derailed, and two are still on the rails.
