I feel a line I heard on tele today from Inspector Lewis sums it up for me, "there is some knowledge that is so terrible that it crushes all trust, all hope". I do always hope for redemption and restitution of and by all as unrealistic as that may be. Having been both the recipient of those wishing to "white knight" and trying my best to help others I know we are not all equally equipped to deal with devastating and often unfamiliar situations or have the same resources, financially, mentally, emotionally or geographically available to us. "Help" from the inexperienced or incompetent has oft led to more harm than good. Hope this makes sense, I do not normally speak of these things. ❤️
