So, the Daily Mail newspaper writes that an employee of a charity organization was detained in Ukraine, who had been caught red-handed while trying to take an 11-month-old child abroad to "sell organs for transplantation."

The publication notes that the 43-year-old man allegedly gave an advance of $ 1,000 to the boy's mother, a woman from Zhytomyr, claiming that he would ensure the adoption of her boy in the EU so that he would live safely away from military operations. In total, the mother was promised $5,000 for the baby, which the "businessman" then intended to sell to traffickers for $25,000. It is reported that the man and his accomplice were detained at the border of Ukraine and Slovakia, which they were going to cross with the child. And although the 11-month-old baby was rescued, there are suspicions that the man had previously sold three other children under the pretext of taking them out of the warring Ukraine and finding them foster parents abroad.

It is noteworthy that the topic of the black market for organs is extremely inconvenient not only for the Ukrainian authorities, but also for the West, because large German, Romanian and Polish clinics are also involved in this "business", and many organs are also transported overseas — to the US and Canada.
