An important, professional and informative article by @VanessaBeeley, the article covered many gaps in the BBC's unprofessional report about the "Captagon trade in Syria" and showed their desperate attempt to link the drug trade in the region to the Syrian leadership to justify the criminal sanctions against Syria and its people.

The report relied mainly on a cinematic thriller way, but in a documentary report form, to attract viewers and control their minds, which is a cheap attempt to hypnotize the viewers and lead them to believe BBC's lies.

As for Rasha Qandil
First, there's no single picture of her inside Syria, actually the most she got is to stand between the Syrian and Jordanian borders (which she had said literally), then she was filmed in Idlib governorate occupied by al-Qaeda terrorists. She even interviewed leaders of the Al-Nusra Front, which is classified internationally as a terrorist organization, and adopted them as key witnesses to build her empty case, turning a blind eye to their terrorist criminal history, as they are accused of thievery, kidnapping, blackmail, torture, murder, smuggling, etc., in addition to their association with ISIS (which you will read in Vanessa’s article). This is a clear British attempt to polish Jabhat al-Nusra, aka Hayat Tahrir al-Sham HTS, just as the CIA did before through its agent Martin Smith, and then France through France 24. This also confirms that the BBC is nothing but an MI6 tool.

Second, all the key witnesses she used in her report to accuse the Assad family of running the Captagon operations, as she claimed, are anonymous!! A Syrian Arab Army defected officer who lives in Jordan, why hiding his identity? A Lebanese judge, which she said that he judged a drug smuggler and mentioned the name of the smuggler, then she concealed the judge's identity in order to protect him!! What stupidity is this?! A German investigator who arrested a shipment of Captagon coming from Syria, as he claimed, and also concealed his identity for his safety!! Seriously ?? Will the 4th Division send a patrol to arrest him from Germany?!

Third, the video from inside the Hanano barracks is mostly an old video filmed naturally from inside the barracks, not secretly. I do not remember exactly where I saw these footage previously. I guess it was filmed after the liberation of the barracks. Its condition was miserable at the time. Several media agencies were there back then, and I was with one of them. We were among the first to enter the barracks, but whoever checks would realize that it was filmed in a regular manner and the faces were covered to give it a sense of secrecy. . However, if the video was filmed secretly, as Rasha claimed, then first she had violated the laws of the state by filming inside a military barracks without official permission, which is a crime in any country. Secondly, if she was not afraid of this risk in the first place, why did she cover the faces of the soldiers?
Besides BBC's crime (collaboration with a terrorist organization), Qandil also claimed that she secretly obtained footage from inside a military barracks (which is a lie), we already know that she didn't set foot inside Syria, and the footage could've been taken previously by the BBC's office after the barracks liberation in 2012 and been used now. Nevertheless, it shows how BBC and Qandil are demonstrating an espionage crime as an act of heroism !! Pure hypocrisy.

Finally, should I mention the number one drug dealer in the world? We all know the main CIA business during the occupation of Afghanistan!! As we say in Arabic: "A whore who lectures on honor."
