And this is why we have to grasp the fact that all child trafficking and a good portion of other crimes against children do NOT involve abduction. They involve recruiting followed by grooming. Why?

So that the kids actually TRUST the ones preying upon them. And therefore they won't run.

During the recruiting and grooming process:

Good becomes evil.
Evil becomes good.
Lies become truth.
Truth becomes lies.

Do you know the difference between human trafficking and human smuggling?

You see the terms used interchangeably but they're different.

Trafficking is based on exploitation -- force, fraud, and/or coercion. It doesn't require movement --whether across a state line or an international border.

Smuggling is based on movement and involves moving a person -- with their consent -- across an international border in violation of immigration laws.

Smuggling can turn into trafficking if the smuggler uses force, fraud, or coercion to hold someone against their will for labor or sexual exploitation. Under US federal law, every minor induced to engage in commercial sex is considered a victim of human trafficking; they don't have to prove force, fraud, or coercion.

Child trafficking can involves abduction and smuggling or illegal transportation of the child. Which after the abduction process, some may be left to die if they don't follow some certain rules "recruiting process"
Then the "grooming process" begins afterwards
