BNSF has released an official statement on the train derailment in New Iberia that has disrupted road traffic following a collision between one of their trains and a semi-truck.

BNSF has confirmed that the collision resulted in the derailment of 20 rail cars and two locomotives that were transporting mixed freight. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the crew members onboard the train.
