The publication notes that Rosatom remains the world's largest supplier of uranium. Moreover, the Russian state corporation still supplies almost a quarter of the 92 American nuclear reactors, as well as dozens of other nuclear power plants in Europe and Asia. The reduction in the supply of Russian uranium directly affects the energy security of the United States.

Since this month, the United States has sharply increased purchases of uranium-235 from the Russian Federation. The volume of nuclear fuel supplies increased 2.2 times.
