WORTH REMEMBERING — Joe Biden appointed Adam Schiff’s top legal advisor Maher Bitar as Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council. Bitar served as general counsel for House Intelligence Committee Democrats since 2017 and played a key role during the first impeachment of Donald J. Trump.
Bitar has a long history of terror affiliations, dating back to his time at Georgetown where he was on the executive board of the school’s chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, which has documented ties to Islamic terrorist organizations including Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Marxist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
