2 dead, 18 injured in shooting during Halloween festivities in Tampa

Two groups began fighting at about 3 a.m. as bars and clubs in the Ybor City neighborhood began closing for the night, sending hundreds of Halloween partygoers into the street, Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw said.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Authorities say one person was killed, and 8 others were hurt during a party in Indianapolis, Indiana earlier this morning. Several people have been detained.

Officers were originally called on a report of a large party with more than 100 people. When officers arrived, shots were being fired, and people were running from the area.

The age range of the nine known victims spans from 16 to 22 years old.

This is how private weapons and ammo got shipped via private donors and arrangements from Florida….. via the Commerce Department. Private proxies halted.

The U.S. Dept. of Commerce has implemented a 90-day "pause" on the exports of firearms, ammunition, and related accessories with the exception of NATO countries, Israel and Ukraine, citing "national security" concerns. The timing is odd to say the least.

At least 15 people were shot at a Halloween party on the city's West Side early Sunday, Chicago.

Officers responded to the scene and observed a male suspect shooting, police said. The man fled on foot and was later arrested, and a firearm was recovered by officers.

Six women and nine men were shot, police said. The victims' ages ranged from 26 to 53, police said.

Authorities said victims were taken to local hospitals in various conditions. A 26-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were take to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition. Other victims were initially listed to be in good condition.
